Just Incase You Were Trying To Forget

InCaseYouForgot

Just incase you were trying to forget…
They left a gruesome reminder…
People are not bottom shelf meat…
Waiting to enter the grinder…

Pay 82 grand to incarcerate me…
But can’t get twenty for school…
Am I really the only one…
Who sees through this bull…

Shit… Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit…
Harass us about our mental state…
Lock us in a cage to rot…
Denied the means to rehabilitate…

Then wonder why we kill again…
Why we go back to the street…
The only option left on the table…
Is rob, kill and cheat…

Living life in a permanent coffin…
Criminal record the nail…
A lifelong and final decision…
Leads to recurring fails…

Take away the possibility to dream…
And eliminate hope…
Then stand up on your stage…
Asking why we sell dope…

Minimum wage is worse than jail…
Working for a fool…
Fancy degrees and pedigree breed…
Your still a fucking tool…

362 million people in the United States…
2 million are incarcerated…
That’s 2 million people on minimum wage…
2 million people with nothing to lose…

If this cycle is not interrupted… Things will get worse… Everyone deserves a chance to dream…
