Partially frozen at sunset

Winter sunset, on a partially frozen Lake Arthur, in Moraine State Park.

Remember me? I have been practicing my photography and building a social media presence… I was just thinking about whether or not to start a new blog, then I realized how dumb that would be! I have been working on my photography skills, while practicing in one of the most photogenic areas around. I have 3 years of photos to share here, and I am taking new ones every day. While this blog has been a collage of different things, it’s probably going to go in a more photographic direction from here on out… I hope you enjoy.

I love how the cold water becomes crystal clear to the camera lens once the sun dips below the horizon.

The last photo of this series, same sunset, but this time photographed from the ruins of a cottage.

Most of what I do now is based around Moraine State Park. It’s very close to home now, and I walk my dogs here daily. Its a massive park, centered around Lake Arthur. My wife and I love it here, and I can’t wait to share some of what we have been up to.
