“Reflect the Perfect” – © chriscondello 2013 – Keystone State Park, PA – Nature is truly spectacular sometimes… But wait… This is a man made reservoir… In fact… It was originally built to wash bituminous coal and quench coke ovens… This lake was in fact born out of the fire and smoke of the steel industry…
Ninety percent of what I do is observation… I observe nature… I observe society… And I translate that into a few words… I translate it into the garden…
The forest floor is the vacation site of the financially poor… So that is where I stay… We laugh and play… Celebrating with the trees the start of another beautiful day… And ask the forest gods to essentially pray… Pray for me… Pray for you… Pray for all the rotten shit we do…
What form does your god take… Mine is spread out among the trees… The nesting site of the birds and the bees… The edge of the forest… The edge of society… When I pose a question… The trees always reply to me…
Spiritual energy builds at the edge of the forest… Evident in the night… Orange sun reminiscent of candlelight… Spirits walk with me along the forest floor… I can feel them all around… They give me eyes in the dark… They are the memories of everyone that has been in this park…
From tree to shining tree… And all the trees I’ll plant in between… Won’t hold a candle… To the queen of serene… The ultimate architect… Landscaper to the rich and famous… Nature… My spirit… And your spirits… Combine in the woods… To create life… To sustain spirits… To harness energy…
For you and I… And our children… And hopefully… Someday… Your children’s children…
I often talk about feeling energy… Sometimes I worry it makes me come off as a crazy man… Then I realize… I am… So I’m going to talk about it anyway… Lately… The energy that I have noticed is different… It is changing… In a good way… I think this means something good is going to happen… Maybe to you… But hopefully to me… Either way… It’s changing…
